PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
Mr. Armenta joined the firm in early 2000 as a law clerk, and became an associate of the firm upon graduating from law school in 2001. He currently assists in civil and business litigation, employment law, federal criminal defense and copyright.

 

EXPERIENCE
Michael J. Armenta has extensive experience in the field of public interest law. From 1995 to 1998 he worked for the Inland Empire Latino Lawyers Association, an established nonprofit organization in the Riverside/San Bernardino area. The agency provides free legal assistance for qualifying low-income individuals in the areas of family law and housing.

During 1996 to 1997, Mr. Armenta served as an Investigator Intern for the Riverside Juvenile Public Defender’s Office where he handled juvenile criminal cases and housing placement cases involving dependent children of the court. Before joining the firm, Mr. Armenta worked as a law clerk for the Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice in the housing department, where he broadened his experience in landlord-tenant disputes among the indigent community.
